Star Wars Celebration Exclusives Revealed!

Good Morning Youtinians. It is April 1st, a funny and wild time to be on the internet. We aren't pulling any pranks, but we have added a weekly release section with the new content releases every week from books, comics, shows, and, eventually, films!

What a thrill it is that the gifts just keep rolling out in the lead-up to the highly anticipated, absolutely awesome-looking Andor Season 2. Now that it has ticked into April, we are, of course, fired up about Japan. Many of us have started packing and planning for an incredible experience. However, once Star Wars Celebration is all wrapped and done, the premiere will only be days away.
With another trailer and a poster to unpack, let’s fire up a Ferrix fly-by of the highlights!
First, we had the February trailer release that nobody saw coming. This was amazing and had us pining for more. We pined, and Lucasfilm delivered an excellent special look that delved deeper into the second season footage and included interviews and voiceovers from Gilroy, Luna, O’Reilly, and more!
Second Trailer: The surprises just keep coming, and how lucky we are that this new trailer gives us even more looks at the upcoming season. Let’s cover what we learned from this final trailer.
The Ghorman massacre is massive!
Mon Mothma supplicates the Senate.
Director Krennic is the key antagonist.
Kleya Marki is crying over someone’s body. Who?
Is Dedra Meero being Force-choked?? What!?
The Poster: This awesome image highlights our favorite characters from Season One with Rebellion and Empire symbols and spacecraft, including the nearly complete first Death Star.

Most of the faces are familiar to us, but three appear new.
On the Rebellion side of the poster, the character to the left of the Yavin temple, right below Cinta Kaz (Vel’s girlfriend), is new.
For the Empire, there are two new Imperial Officers, both wearing the familiar black kepis. One is directly below Syril Karn (possibly Captain Vanis Tigo), and the other is directly below what appears to be Lonni Jung, to the right of Krennic’s waist.
The gobsmacking inclusions of the Range Trooper and TX-225 GAVw “Occupier” combat assault tanks are next level!
We’re all fine here now — how are you? We simply cannot wait for the second season to drop and finally reveal its secrets. The footage and images are just fantastic (and every other superlative we can imagine!).
We know some big names that survive and appear in Rogue One, but how about the others? Who is most likely to be taken out first?

New Comic Featuring Doctor Aphra Announced

Comic fan-favorite Doctor Aphra will return this summer in a brand new ongoing series!
Doctor Aphra: Chaos Agent: It has been about a year since Doctor Aphra’s last ongoing mainline comic series ended, so this announcement is great news.
Writer Cherish Chen and artist Gabriel Guzman are teaming up for this brand new Doctor Aphra comic series, which will take place in the New Republic era.
To kick off these new adventures, Aphra teams up with Luke Skywalker to search for an artifact.
The first issue of Doctor Aphra: Chaos Agent is set to release on June 18th!
Other Aphra Comics: That release date gives us all plenty of time to catch up on Aphra’s adventures throughout the galaxy far, far away.
Doctor Aphra was introduced ten years ago in the third issue of Darth Vader (2015) and soon found herself in her own ongoing series, Doctor Aphra (2016), which ran for forty issues.
Following the conclusion of that series, writer Alyssa Wong took up the helm with Doctor Aphra (2020) alongside several incredible artists, including Marika Cresta, Federico Sabbatini, and Minkyu Jung.
Luke and Aphra have been enemies and allies throughout the last ten years of Star Wars comics, so this new reunion will be a great adventure to watch — especially since it takes place in the New Republic era.
We're all fine here now — how are you? The guys over on The Cosmic Force are super excited to hear about some new Aphra comics coming down the line. Check out their thoughts when the new series premieres this summer!
