LEGO Star Wars Comes to YouTube 🎥

Star Wars Outlaws Keeps Getting Better!

Good Morning Youtinians.  Last week, excited about joining the kids from Skeleton Crew, we asked who you always dreamt of being if you could be in the Star Wars universe. Perhaps not surprisingly, the vast majority of you — more than 70% — chose Jedi. Bounty hunter was the second most popular choice, at 12%.

Two great gifts are dropping early this holiday season!

LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special: The LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special is a light-hearted animated movie mostly centered on characters from the Sequel Trilogy.

  • If you remember the abject weirdness of 1978's live-action Star Wars Holiday Special, rest assured this LEGO version is entirely different!

  • We join characters from the Sequel Trilogy, such as Poe, Finn, and Rey, celebrating Life Day alongside Chewie and his fellow Wookiees.

  • It arrived on Disney+ in 2020, and if you haven’t seen it, it is very worth watching for any Star Wars fan, especially this time of year! It's even easier to watch now as it is newly available (without a subscription) on YouTube!

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy: This LEGO special is much newer, and it takes Star Wars head-on to give us strange new takes on our favorite characters in a format that is very reminiscent of Marvel’s What If…? series.

  • Until now, the special has only been available to fans on Disney+, but it will be available for free on the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel on December 5th!

  • Across four parts, Rebuild the Galaxy shows off several mash-up ships — including the Dark Falcon! — and the strange turn of events that somehow produced Darth Jar Jar in the galaxy far, far away.

  • One of the standouts of this miniseries is Gaten Matarazzo’s character, Sig Greebling, who was created specifically for this special!

We're all fine here now — how are you? We’ll keep an eye out for any other sudden Star Wars drops this holiday season and let you know what we find! In the meantime, join us in enjoying these two LEGO specials with a steaming hot cup of caf.

“Wild” Additions for Kay Vess and Nix, Plus a Contest You Can Win!

An exclusive Sabacc tournament. A return to the Morenia. More Lando and EY-E9. We finally meet an Imperial Governor in the flesh, and big mysteries are afoot. Overall, this new content rocks!

This week heralded two important and amazing additions to Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card, the game’s first DLC (Downloadable Content), and a Title Update that represents the game's largest patch yet. Let's cover some of the highlights without giving too much away!

The Wild Card:

  • Way more Lando, and then some!

  • The Sabacc tournament is very serious, big-time competitive, and totally immersive. We are talking about high stakes here. Six players battle it out, with a droid dealer keeping things on the up and up. Maybe.

  • After seeing Governor Thorden's name several times in the base game, we finally meet him in the flesh (voiced by Lewis MacLeod) as Kay finds herself coerced into working for the Empire.

  • The awesome casino cruiser frigate, the Morenia, returns in all its glory, and we can explore the ship in greater detail. Make sure you listen carefully to the conversations to figure out crucial and intriguing clues.

  • Our new favorite moon, Toshara, reveals deeper secrets in Mirogana Valley and a return to the Grazing Fields.

The Title Update:

  • The game's largest patch to date means more player choices, access to more weapons, sharper images, and an improved experience as you explore the galaxy.

  • Stealth and combat updates allow stealthier access to blasters, notification when an enemy detects you, the ability to escalate or change tactics, and the ability to wield two-handed weapons.

  • Watch your enemies perish in new and spectacular ways, and check out the higher image expressions, animations, and lights in the distance.

  • For a complete list, see Ubisoft here.

Photomode Contest:

  • Youtinians have until January 5, 2025, to snap a picture of the Outer Rim characters, animals, territories, landscapes, and scenery.

  • Play around with lighting, textures, patterns, shadows, colors, and more as you search for your favorite image. Then, simply submit your entry here

  • Ubisoft will award the 10 winning entries with a framed print of their image, a Star Wars Outlaws steelbook, a Nix plush toy, and an Outlaws-themed Xbox Elite Wireless Controller!

We’re all fine here now — how are you? Our friends at Ubisoft are going to the next level. We are excited that the second DLC, A Pirate's Fortune, is coming in Spring 2025, with updates and news about the inclusion of Hondo coming thick and fast. Check our Discord and #sw-outlaws for all the news, and tell us what you think while you're there!
