Tales of the Underworld Announced

The next installment of Tales animated shorts is coming!

Tales of the Underworld: Last week, Star Wars announced their next Tales series, Tales of the Underworld.

• In keeping with the style that we are used to from these miniseries now, Tales of the Underworld will feature six shorts, three of which will center around Cad Bane while the other three tell tales of Asajj Ventress.

• In the trailer that came along with the announcement, we see Ventress with her yellow lightsaber from The Bad Batch and Cad Bane fighting with an unknown Duros.

• These shorts will hit Disney+ on May 4th!

Tales Shorts: This is the third installment of animated shorts focusing on two diverging characters.

• Tales of the Jedi premiered in 2022 and gave us a deeper look into the lives of Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku — two fascinating choices of former Jedi who willingly left the Order.

• Tales of the Empire came to Disney+ in 2024 and focused on Barriss Offee and Morgan Elsbeth. 

• These animated series are quick watches, so we highly recommend a rewatch before May 4th!

May the Fourth Merch Announced!

So, you are either packing for Japan or getting set to follow all the Celebration news from Youtini, who will be there with bells on. Either way, it's also a great time to prepare for Star Wars Day, which falls only a few weeks later! We have uncovered two awesome sources of merch for you to check out, and believe us, this is no bantha fodder!

Our friends at Variety have revealed that Disney Store is coming through with the goods all through April, and this is no trap:

• April 4th: The main collection featuring a new 2025 logo on all merch has already dropped.

• April 11th: A new “Endor Droids Collection” drops for Endor Droids, featuring our old favorites C-3PO and R2-D2.

• April 18th: Disney celebrates the 45th Anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back with a Hoth collection that is simply cool! The merch will include new Mickey ears, apparel, and a Loungefly backpack collection!

• April 25th: Snips has joined Disney to release a new Artist Series of merch featuring Ahsoka Tano branding. Ashley Eckstein is pumped, and so are we!

• Additional merch will drop on May the 4th itself, so stay tuned!
