Cover Reveal for Star Wars: The Last Order!

We got the cover reveal for Kwame Mbalia’s upcoming young adult novel, The Last Order!

The Cover: This is our first look at the cover, and we are very excited by what we see.

• The cover features Finn and Jannah in their stormtrooper armor and carrying blasters.

• Surrounding the two main characters are flowers in a style that almost feels like graffiti, an art form closely related to the ideas of resistance and rebellion.

• Jason Wojtowicz and Kim Thompson designed the cover.

The Story: The novel centers around Finn and Jannah’s experiences as stormtroopers serving the First Order and how that guilt affects them as they work with the Resistance.

• Mbalia had the story idea years ago and feels particularly drawn toward Finn as a character.

• This deep dive into Finn’s character will certainly add a lot of context to the era of the First Order’s reign in general, and that is the biggest reason we are excited for Mbalia’s novel.

The book comes out on October 21st as part of the tenth anniversary of The Force Awakens.
