Special Look at Andor Season 2

How amazing it was that we logged on just over a week ago to discover a full-blown trailer for Andor Season 2! It was full of action, beloved characters, new scenes, and Easter Eggs aplenty! So, how totally wicked it was when we were served even more this past week with a behind-the-scenes look at the most anticipated Star Wars TV sequel ever?

What we got:

  • We see even more snippets of the upcoming season, with the main focus on Cassian and his foray into the birth of the Rebellion, a desperate call for help, and an impassioned call to come together and fight.

  • Happily, we see even more of the cast that we have missed so much, all of them in their full glory, scheming and manipulating. We even see more of K-2SO, more of Director Krennic, and more of Saw Gerrera.

  • The characters' voices provide a super narration that tells us more of the sacrifice and hardship faced by our heroes and anti-heroes as they fight for and against the newly formed Galactic Empire.

  • The moments taken from the show are injected and supported with recorded live interviews with four key Star Wars legends, and these are the real galaxy-changers!

And, the interviewees said:

  • The commentary begins with writer Tony Gilroy taking the mic and dropping even more tantalizing words: “Revolutionary movements are spontaneously happening all over the galaxy. How those come together is the stuff of our story”. He adds, “These twelve episodes are going to take us over the next four years into Rogue One. The complexity of the show, the possibilities of the show, it has to be all in”. Believe us, Tony, we are definitely all in!

  • Genevieve O’Reilly, who plays Mon Mothma, confirmed our hopes by stating, “If season one laid the track, then season two is the juggernaut.” Wow! She goes on to say, “The size and scale of this production is unparalleled. The sets and the costumes are breathtaking”.

  • Bix Caleen, played by Adria Arjona, adds, “It’s human. It’s incredibly truthful, and it just happens to be in a galaxy, far, far, away," a quote we absolutely love!

  • Deigo Luna, Cassian Andor and Executive Producer, adds even more teasers: “Everyone does their homework. Everyone takes their time, and you can tell”. And finally, he leaves us with, “It’s the end. Have no expectations”. We'll try, Diego, but it's getting harder not to!

We’re all fine here now how are you? Along with this behind-the-scenes look comes news that there will be an Andor Panel at Star Wars Celebration in just over a month. We can only imagine what awesomeness we will see then! Stay tuned as Youtini.com will keep you up-to-date with all the news.

Mara Jade Receives Official Legacy Lightsaber

Last week, the exciting announcement came that Mara Jade would be the first Legends character to receive a Legacy limited edition lightsaber.

  • Only 3,500 will be available, split between the two Galaxy Edge parks and the online Disney Store.

  • The lightsaber will cost $325, comes in a collector box emblazoned with a logo that combines the Empire and New Jedi Order, and includes an exclusive variant of Mara Jade: By the Emperor’s Hand #1.

  • The hilt does not come with a blade, but if you add one, it will glow purple.

We’re all fine here now — how are you? While several legacy hilts already exist, including those of Ahsoka Tano, Cal Kestis, and others, this is the first saber from a Legends character. Could it be a sign of more to come?
