In an exclusive excerpt released on Kobo’s UK site, we get a sneak peek at the final book of The High Republic initiative, which reveals many intriguing details for the remainder of the story!
What’s in the Excerpt:
The dreaded blight continues to spread, consuming the spaceport on the planet Estavera as a family prepares to board a flight.
Back on Coruscant, as Jedi meditate to contain the blight in the depths of the Temple, we learn that the Order has achieved a remarkable breakthrough in dealing with the Nameless.
Next, the Jedi Council must select a team to capitalize on this fortunate turn of events and end Ro’s reign of terror!
Key Takeaways:
Even though the e-book isn’t available from Kobo in the US, American readers can still access the excerpt. Visit the UK Kobo site, then click on the ‘Preview Now’ text directly below the image of the cover. You may need to adjust the font size.
The excerpt features the first two chapters of the book. It does reveal some elements of the story. If you prefer to start reading without any prior knowledge, you may wish to wait for the full book to be released.
We’re all fine here now — how are you? Make sure you check out Eric’s story about Entertainment Weekly‘s excerpt and stay updated with the latest on Discord. And remember, Trials of the Jedi releases on June 17th and is available for pre-order NOW!

As Andor's epic final season has many of us rewatching the original Star Wars film and with a slate of new movies on the way from Lucasfilm, the OG hero in the galaxy far, far away has shared his thoughts about his future in the franchise.
What happened?
Mark Hamill is on a press tour for the upcoming movie The Life of Chuck, which is set to release later this month.
In an interview released over the weekend, ComicBook.com asked Hamill about Star Wars.
What did he say?
Hamill expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of a film that no one expected to "become a permanent franchise and part of pop culture."
However, he says he will not return as Luke Skywalker in future Star Wars projects.
Hamill states, “I had my time," and that he believes "they should focus on the future and all the new characters.”
He also went on to explain, “When I disappeared ..., I left my robes behind. And there’s no way I'm gonna appear as a naked Force ghost."
We’re all fine here now — how are you? Hamill is infamous for his cryptic statements of denial regarding his involvement in future Star Wars projects. Should he, fingers crossed, be healthy and willing, we SO hope that he does provide another live-action sequence for one of the upcoming movies.
